The current owner has transformed this boat into a wonderfully spacious and in my opinion well thought out liveaboard. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time living onboard, however his circumstances have now changed and he is reluctantly having to move ashore. The owner advises us that the boat can very easily be returned to her former status as a spacious fast cruiser.
Over the course of 2019, this Giorgi Cantieri Navali Open 46 has undergone a 12 month £60k refurbishment programme. This has included a professional check and overhaul of the engines & electrics, new navigation equipment, new batteries, new upholstery & carpets, new galley units, new LED deck & nav lights, the servicing of existing & supply of new safety equipment, GRP & gelcoat modification & repair work, the installation of new stereo speakers, a new holding tank and a new Victron Multi Inverter amongst many other things.
Spacious and well equipped, the fully furnished accommodation layout includes a forward cabin, midships double cabin with saloon, galley, two heads, showers and a completely separate / private ensuite double aft cabin for visiting family & friends.
Sleek, stylish and fast, this attractive, modern Sports Express Cruiser would make a fantastic houseboat , river cruiser and coastal cruiser/sport boat.
Please also note that some new video footage has now been shot onboard below decks which shows the vessel with and without a new dividing bulkhead which was installed by the current owner to provide an extra double cabin and separate saloon area down below.
The owner informs us that this boat was lifted, pressure washed and re-antifouled in December 2022.
