She is Maverick catamarans 2022 demo Maverick 440 (Cruise ready version) built to comply with European Recreational Craft Directive CE Category A - Open Ocean.
Her 4 cabin / 3 head interior layout is ideally suited for a family that wants to enjoy the privacy provided by the separate cabins or one that would like a skipper or hostess aboard. As could be expected the interior of the vessel is air conditioned and thus she comes with a a built in sound dampened generator which gives one further options of running a large water maker / dive compressor etc
The interior is an ergonomically pleasing layout with an elegant & modern appeal. The galley has all the convenience of land based living with washing machine, clothes dryer, SMEG dishwasher, SMEG hob, microwave, insinkerator etc.
The hulls are extra wide, offering large cabins with queen sized, extra length, island style beds in the aft cabins. The added advantage of the wide hulls is that she has an exceptional load carry capabilities which is precisely what is required for a self sufficient long range blue water cruiser. A further advantage is that the engine bay is spacious which will be most appreciated by those that need to work in this space. She is unique in that she has a crew cabin with head, basin & shower located in the starboard fore peak. This cabin has direct access to the deck. She is also the first Maverick to come with a hard top bimini which includes a tanning deck, drinks table and U shaped seating.
This vessel is being offered at a heavily discounted rate. To put this in perspective a new "Cruise ready" Maverick 440 with a very similar specification would be approximately 200k USD more! The quoted price is Excluding VAT. In the event that she is purchased into a VAT registered entity in South Africa or exported VAT will not be applicable. She is immediately available for collection in South Africa.
