The photos on this listing show the location of the mooring and the Float1 showboat which offers a smaller example of what can be built for the space. The dock is a tranquil place with a real village feel and strong community spirit.
The mooring is 60' in length so a houseboat with 1,000sq ft could be produced. The big benefit of these purpose built boats is the roof terrace which extends for nearly the entire length of the boat and means you have huge amounts of outdoor space. Being constructed from aluminium makes these boats incredibly low maintenance, a big benefit for people with busy lifestyles.
The residential mooring is fully transferable (10% transfer fee) so you can sell on the space with the boat when the time comes and there is electric supply, water and internet connection. Greenland Dock is in a fantastic location right on the Thames with Greenland Pier and the riverbus 30 seconds from the marina. Surrey Quays (10 mins) and Canada Water (20 mins) are all within walking distance giving good access to central London.
